Follaje de otoño

Orígenes

Set in a fictional future where the natural world has withered away, Orígenes offers a poetic exploration of humanity’s fading bond with a planet that no longer thrives. This dance piece captures the bittersweet beauty of a world where life has ceased to grow, leaving behind only memories—nostalgic echoes of “how good it used to be.” In an era dominated by synthetic imitations, Orígenes mourns the loss of nature while striving to recreate fleeting moments of joy, connection, and hope. Seeking ephemeral beauty and hope in a world forever changed.

Against the reflective backdrop of autumn, misty rains evoke a yearning for roots, friendship, family, and traditions now lost. Meanwhile, sudden bursts of radiant orange sunsets illuminate the possibility of renewal. Bridging the past and an artificial future, Orígenes reflects on origins, loss, and the aching memory of a world slipping away, an attempt to recreate a world that no longer exists and can never again be as it once was.

Orígenes becomes an emotional reminder of where we come from and of what we treasure: an attempt to revive a world that no longer exists, celebrating the happy memories that still support and inspire us.

On Tour

NOMADANCE at FMK International Dance Festival!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that our work, “Orígenes,” will be presented at the FMK International Dance Festival in Vientiane, Laos, on 18th October 2025!

This international platform is a unique opportunity to bring our work to new audiences and to connect with a vibrant community of artists from across the world. We are both thrilled and deeply grateful to be part of this festival.

To make this journey possible, we’re hosting Orígenes – Studio Presentation + Q&A (Singapore Preview), a special fundraising event designed to support the costs of bringing our work overseas. This grassroots effort is driven by passion and commitment — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

On this evening, you’ll experience an exclusive preview of Orígenes, followed by an open conversation with the artist. It promises to be an inspiring and intimate night of dance, dialogue, and community.

🙏 Every donation — big or small — brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality.

Thank you for believing in us and being part of the journey. 💛
